    1. How do I post on Selleb?

      You can post on Selleb in 3 different ways:

      1. Linking your Gmail: We’ll automatically find receipts from the last 6 months for you to review and approve.

      2. Manual forwarding: If you don’t use Gmail or want to post receipts older than 6 months, you can manually forward order confirmations to post@selleb.com. Note: If the same receipt is found via Gmail AND also forwarded manually, it will appear twice in your profile. You can always delete duplicates.

      3. Paper receipt posting: In the Selleb app, take a photo of a paper receipt, and we’ll automatically extract the item details and turn it into a post. If anything looks off, you can request edits.

    2. How long does it take for a receipt to appear?

      Email receipts usually appear within 24 hours (often much sooner). Processing times vary, so if you submit multiple receipts at once, they may appear at different times. Some receipts take longer to process when details are missing or the format is uncommon.

      Paper receipts appear immediately after you upload them.

    3. What should I do if my receipt hasn’t posted after 24 hours?

      Email us at support@selleb.com.

    4. What types of receipts are supported? Do you accept all retailers?

      We support both email and paper receipts from most major retailers and formats. As long as the receipt includes item names and prices, our system should process it accurately.

    5. Why didn’t my receipt parse correctly?

      Sometimes item names, prices, or images may be misread. You can request edits directly from the post and correct the information there.

    6. Can I edit or delete a receipt after it posts?

      Yes! You can add ratings, reviews, and photos, or delete a post at any time.

    7. Can I manually add a purchase without a receipt?

      We require proof of purchase for every post. Credit card screenshots are accepted if they clearly show the merchant, date, and total.

    8. What happens when I return an item or get a refund?

      You can edit the original post and mark the item as returned. Returned items remain visible so others can learn from real experiences. Your reasons for returns are super helpful for other users!

    1. If I link my Gmail, how can I be sure that my information is safe?

      Selleb is approved through Google’s official security review process and undergoes ongoing independent security audits to ensure your data is protected.

    2. What doesn’t get stored from receipts?

      Selleb uses receipt information only to create your posts and generate recommendations. We don’t store payment credentials or other sensitive personal information, such as home addresses, credit card information, or names. Nothing is shared without your approval.

    3. Can I delete my data?

      Yes. You can delete individual posts at any time, and you can request full account deletion through support.

    1. Can I link multiple inboxes on 1 account?

      Yes. Many people shop using more than one email address, so you can connect multiple inboxes to one Selleb account to import all your receipts in one place.

    2. What’s the difference between a primary and secondary account?

      Your primary account is the email or Apple ID you use to log in. Any additional emails you connect are used only to import receipts and can’t be used to log in.

      If you link an Apple ID, you can log in with either your primary email or your Apple ID. If you first signed up with an Apple ID and later added an email, that email is considered secondary and can’t be used to log in.

    3. Can I change my primary email?

      Yes. Email support@selleb.com and we’ll help you update it.

    4. What happens if I unlink a secondary email?

      If you unlink an email, it becomes a separate Selleb account and will no longer be connected to your existing posts or data unless you log in to it separately.

    5. How far back does Selleb scan my email?

      When you link Gmail, we scan up to the last 6 months for receipts.

    6. If I link my Gmail to Selleb, can I choose what gets shared?

      Yes! You review and approve each receipt before it appears on your profile.

    7. What if I lose access to my email?

      If you lose access to your email, please email support@selleb.com to change your primary account.

    8. Who can see my receipts by default?

      All accounts are public by default, so your purchases can be discovered by the community. You can block specific users at any time.

    9. Can I make purchases private or hide prices?

      Selleb is built on trust and transparency, so prices and purchases are visible by default.

    10. Can I block someone from seeing my activity?

      You can block users individually in Settings.
