There are still endless opportunities for arbitrage and steals, thanks to the Balkanization of resale platforms that has created pricing competition and therefore blessed us with OPTIONALITY. You just have to know where and how to look :)

Avid secondhand scourers probably know that The RealReal releases new items twice daily at 10AM and 7PM EST and are masters at using optimal keywords in their secondhand search. But do they take advantage of Vestiaire Collective’s 48-hour price drops? These glorious events happen more often than not. If you browse regularly on Vestiaire, make sure to “heart” anything that catches your eye. If the seller activates a 48hr discount, you’ll be the first to be notified in your inbox! Unexpected delights… These discounts are both steep and ephemeral; make sure to pounce fast because indecision is worse than a bad decision, right?
Our trick is to submit an offer on top of the 48-hour deal. Double-dealing ;)
